imeco looks back
The history of imeco begins on 1st March 1984 when Dieter Joa founded the imeco einwegprodukte gmbh & co. kg in Goldbach with only a handful of employees.
The company grew steadily with a manageable range of cleaning clothes meaning that Mr. Joa, a businessman who set important trends which were essential to the pan-European company until his retirement in 2009, had to expand into the surrounding region after only a short time ...
1989 imeco moved to Hösbach
As early as 1989, imeco finally moved from the Goldbach to the Hösbach location due to a lack of space continuing to show steady growth. So it was inevitable that the company reached its geographical limits here too and invested in additional production sites. Together with the establishment of the plant in Königswalde (1990) and the 100%-owned subsidiary Imakon in Luban/Poland (1995), imeco today produces at three locations.
